I am a detail oriented, hardworking, fun loving, and a team player currently looking for an opportunity in the HCI field as an Interaction Designer. I have hands on experience and expert knowledge in interface designing, prototyping, and usability testing.

Currently I am working as an Interaction Designer (consultant) at Western Digital in Mountain View. My work is focused on facilitating design process using user-centric approach with emphasis on human-computer interaction. Before joining Western Digital, I worked at Wells Fargo, LexisNexis, GottaPark Inc., and at Oracle Corporation.

I did my masters in Human Factors Engineering (HF/E) with an emphasis in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and Usability Engineering from San Jose State University, California in December 2009 and undergraduate in Information Technology from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, India in May 2005.

A good user interface design can explain the difference between acceptance of a software product and its failure in the marketplace. If the end-users find the software to be difficult to understand even an excellent product could be doomed to failure. The designer´s goal is to make the software as professional-looking and easy to use as possible by allowing the user to perform tasks quickly and efficiently, without sacrificing power and flexibility.
