Aim: To provide an improved design of Picasa photo sharing web application obtained by uncovering the usability issues through direct observation of target users.
Procedure:
- Observed six participants by giving them series of task for uploading and sharing photos
- Based on the results created various designs on paper
- Created wire frames in power point
- Created high fidelity prototype using paint, photoshop and power point
- Delivered a poster explaining the process, design and applied HCI guidelines
